Insiders and Outsiders
This week Pastor Adam explores the profound biblical themes of community, belonging, and the grace of God through the lens of "Insiders and Outsiders." Drawing from Jesus' encounter with a Roman Centurion whose servant is in need of healing, the sermon examines how human structures often create barriers that exclude, while the Gospel consistently works to tear down those barriers and include people. We are challenged to look beyond social, cultural, and religious divisions to see people as God sees them. While the world is quick to categorize individuals based on their status or background, Jesus repeatedly reached out to those on the "outside"—the marginalized, the forgotten, and the rejected. In the Kingdom of Heaven, the invitation of grace is extended to all, transforming "outsiders" into beloved members of God’s family. This calls believers to move toward a posture of radical hospitality and intentional inclusion, mirroring the heart of Christ in their daily lives. Whether you have felt like an outsider looking in or find yourself comfortably on the inside, this message offers a transformative perspective on what it truly means to be part of a community defined by the love of Jesus.
