The heartbeat of our church family doesn’t just happen on Sundays—it beats throughout the week in living rooms across our city. Home Groups are families of believers of all ages and stages learning to follow Jesus together. In these smaller communities, we discover the beauty of Jesus together by sharing meals, sharing life, and sharing Christ.
We share meals, because table fellowship was central to Jesus’ ministry, and it remains central to ours. We share life, because we were never meant to walk with Jesus alone. Together we carry one another’s burdens, celebrate one another’s joys, and receive grace in the midst of struggle. And we share Christ, because He is our greatest treasure.
Home Groups are where the church becomes family: children, parents, singles, grandparents, and everyone in between, growing together in Christ. It’s in these multigenerational communities that wisdom is passed on, gifts are shared, and the love of Jesus is displayed in tangible ways. We believe community is essential for living the life Jesus calls us to: loving one another deeply, making disciples, and bearing witness to the beauty of Christ in Carpinteria and to the nations. Home Groups are how we pursue that calling together.

The events and opportunities they plan are designed to promote:
- Fellowship - They meet once a month to connect, and share life. Whether it’s a beach barbecue or a hike in the foothills, it’s a space to build genuine friendships that last.
- Worship - Every quarter, they set aside an evening to focus on what unites us: our faith, our hope, and our worship. It’s a chance to reset, reflect, and draw close to God together.
- Service - They are committed to being Jesus’ hands and feet here in Carpinteria, in the coastland communities and beyond. Their desire is to also partner with local and global missions teams to serve our community and the nations, living out our faith through meaningful action.
