At Reality Carpinteria, we believe that ministry flows from intimacy with Jesus. One way we express this is by serving one another and the community through our Sunday ministries. Whether it’s helping disciple the next generation in Kids Ministry or rolling up your sleeves to assist with Set Up and Tear Down, every role is an opportunity to glorify God and build up His church.

While certain areas of ministry have greater needs than others, the most important thing is for each person to serve according to their God-given gifts and passions. Whether you love organizing, connecting with people, or working behind the scenes, there’s a place for you to make an impact.

Kids Ministry

We celebrate children at Reality Carpinteria. And we want them to be integrated into all that we do. Sunday kids ministry is more than child care. Our kids are loved by Jesus and so we seek to engage them with the good news of Jesus’ love through songs, games, crafts, and teaching from Scripture.

Worship Ministry

We believe that worship not only prepares us to receive the Word of God but that it is also the primary response to the good news of Jesus. Our worship ministry is called and gifted by God to invite us to receive and respond to God’s word together.

Youth Ministry

Jr High and High School are such special seasons for our kids to learn about who they are in Christ. As they discover their passions and desires, we want to give them every opportunity to see Jesus as the greatest thing they want in life.

Hospitality Teams

Welcome Team
Every person attending a worship gathering is worth noticing, celebrating, and remembering. The welcome is more than friendly faces at the door. They are committed to inviting people to make themselves at home. By greeting people and remembering them from week to week, the welcome team communicates belonging to each and every person desiring to worship Jesus.
Parking Team
The first face of Reality Carpinteria, the Parking Team serves to welcome people to church with joy, help new people to find where they are going, and keep everyone safe as the come and go from church.
Coffee Team
The coffee team provides more than warm beverages. They are kind and warm people who provide a place of connection and conversation for people coming to church. It is the only ministry on Sundays that provides a tangible evidence of service (a cup of coffee or tea). And let’s be honest, sometimes we all need a little caffeine in the morning.
Connect Team
There are many opportunities to get connected to people or resources in the church to continue growing in our walk with God outside of the Sunday gathering. The connect team is committed to helping people find what resources or opportunities are best for those trying to get further involved in the church.
Usher Team
Our ushers are responsible for maintaining a safe and distraction free environment so that all people can hear and receive the good news of Jesus. By helping people to find a seat in a sometimes crowded gathering, ushers help people to focus on what’s most important by taking the discomfort of looking for a seat away from those arriving to worship.
