Expectant Prayer

This week Pastor Adam invites us to rediscover the heart of prayer through the words of Jesus: “Ask, Seek, Knock.” Confronting both the promise of God’s generosity and the reality of unanswered prayers, he challenges the assumptions that often lead us to lower our expectations of God.

Rather than offering formulas or explanations, he reframes prayer as something deeper than simply getting what we want. Prayer is an invitation into relationship with a good and loving Father—one who is not reluctant, distant, or annoyed, but eager to hear and respond.
