Not a Christmas Sermon
Through the lens of Matthew 1:18-25, we explore the miraculous yet scandalous nature of Christ's birth, not as a “Christmas message” but as an historical event. In the process, Pastor Adam challenges us to confront a pivotal question of our time: If God is real, is He good? The incarnation of Jesus - God becoming man - is both a blessing and a disruption. We're reminded that God's presence in our lives doesn't always feel comfortable, especially when it conflicts with societal norms or personal desires. Sometimes “God With Us” feels like “The World Against Us.” In this tension we’re invited to examine our own faith journey. Are we seeking a sanitized version of Jesus that fits neatly into our lives, or are we willing to embrace the full reality of Christ as both Savior and Lord, and we’re urged to choose God's approval over the world's, even when it comes at a cost. It's a call to authentic faith that transforms not just our beliefs, but our entire lives.
