Reality Carpinteria family, we want to provide an update regarding Sunday gatherings as we enter into the seasonal weather changes of the fall and winter. As weather permits, we will continue to be gathering outside in the Reality parking lot at 8:30 and 10:30 AM. Gathering outdoors allows for us to gather in greater numbers, without the need to make reservations in advance, and with less health and safety concerns for all who attend (particularly as it relates to worshiping corporately in song). Gathering outdoors also provides the needed space for social interaction.
In the event of inclement weather, we will shift that week’s gatherings to indoors. Because of the current state and county mandates, we will need to limit each gathering to 100 people, requiring everyone in attendance to reserve a place in advance at one of three gatherings. In an attempt to ensure the health and safety of all who gather as best as possible, safety protocols will be closely adhered to.
We will be closely monitoring the weather each week. If conditions appear too harsh to gather outdoors (based on temperature, wind, or rain) we will make the call to meet indoors on Wednesday the week prior. In that event, we will notify you via email Wednesday evening and provide directions to RSVP for one of the three limited gatherings. Information will also be on our website and social media channels.
This week, we will be gathering outside in the rear of the parking lot at 8:30 and 10:30 AM as usual. We hope to see you there.
