Dear Reality Carpinteria Family,
As most of you know we have encountered some problems with the City
of Carpinteria that have to do with parking and service times. This will
affect the time that you attend church this Sunday (May 17), and the
weeks to follow until Reality Ventura starts. Scroll down on this page to
watch two videos which explain the situation and new temporary service
times. If you were not here this last Sunday you need to watch both part
one and two. If you were here Sunday you already heard part one and
can just watch part two. We just posted a real brief update below please
be sure to scroll down and view that update.
If you do not have video capabilities on your computer, here is the info:
• New temporary service times: 8, 10 and 12 noon
• Jr. High and High School Youth Group meets at its usual location at
12 noon
• Those who normally attend 8:30 are being asked to attend the 8am
service
• Those who normally attend 11:00 are being asked to attend the 10
am service
• Those who have been attending the 6pm service are being asked
to attend the service at noon
• Pre-service Sunday prayer will be in the overflow room at 7 am
• All services will be 1.5 hours long
• The children’s ministry will be happening at full scale for all services
• These times are temporary until we get Reality Ventura up and
running sometime in the next several weeks
Please remember that we all need to band together, make sacrifices
and be on mission for this season to work out. We understand that the
service you are being asked to attend may not be the best time for
you, but please consider the larger body and the problems at hand
and be willing to adjust.
If you live in Carpinteria please ride your bike or walk to church if at all
possible. If you live outside Carpinteria it is imperative that you make
arrangements to carpool.
As a church we have the best possible problems—too many people
trying to come! Praise God!
So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria enjoyed
peace, being built up; and going on in the fear of the Lord and in the
comfort of the Holy Spirit, it continued to increase. –Acts 9:31
