Serve at Reality

Greetings! If you are reading this, it is most likely because you are interested in serving at Reality. That is awesome! We cherish our servants here and appreciate their efforts in ministering to the church body.

Jesus said, “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.“ (Mark 10:45)

Galatians says, “For you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.” (Gal 5:13)

As the church, we are called to serve one another. God, by His grace, has gifted us all. (Rom 12:6). We are to use our gifts to serve one another. This is a great privilege for us. God uses us to build up His people in many different ways by encouraging one another, teaching, meeting a specific need, etc. The Christian is a part of God’s plan to grow and strengthen the body of Christ. God has good works prepared for us to walk in! (Eph 2:10). Serving one another is to happen inside AND outside the four walls of the church building.

Sunday gatherings at Reality are one of the the biggest things we do on a weekly basis. Our desire for Sunday gatherings at Reality is to exalt and glorify Jesus Christ through worship, the word, and prayer. This desire is for the youngest to the oldest that enter through our doors.

The Church gathering at Reality doesn’t, “just happen.” We rely on a large group of volunteers to serve everyone who comes through the doors on a Sunday morning. Sunday morning gatherings would not be possible without all of the faithful helpers that serve week in and week out. The staff cannot do it all, and shouldn’t do it all. We are all different parts of the body gifted to serve one another in various and glorious ways.

There are many opportunities to serve at Reality. Stepping out and serving does take a sacrifice to some degree. However, when we do step out and serve, It not only deepens our experience of community, but we also find how life giving it is as we obey God’s word and serve one another.
