“In everything I showed you that by working hard in this manner you must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He Himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
Acts 20: 35 NASB

And God has appointed in the church, first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, various kinds of tongues. 1Corinthians 12:28 NASB

Vision

We will endeavor to give God glory and manifest the gospel by reflecting the love and compassion of Christ by coming together offering gifts, talents, and abilities to those within the church and the community in a time of need.

The helps ministry provides an avenue for the men and women in our body to live out the gospel while using the gifts God has given them. We will respond to individuals who are under-resourced, vulnerable, elderly and/or physically disabled. In addition, provide a stream of resources those under unusual financial, emotional and/or physical duress from Illness or traumatic event or circumstances beyond their abilities.

What We Do

Provide relief for those in need from a traumatic event such as fires or flood. This could include sifting through or clearing debris with the homeowner or help with emergency preparedness such as providing labor for sandbag placement for coming rains in for possible flooding

  • Provide labor for small repair projects. This could include help with electrical, plumbing needs or other household repairs
  • Provide labor for lawn care and house cleaning for a person recovering from illness or injury or the elderly

The above are only a few examples. The scope is primarily temporary assistance and is not necessarily open-ended.
